Correct Your Fragrance Layering Technique

Just like color correcting balances an uneven complexion, layering fixes an uneven fragrance. Spraying only one scent in one spot fades fast. Barivon recommends applying to pulse points, the neck, and even a light mist on clothing so the top, heart, and base notes of fragrances like Cherry Noir or Sublime Blossom unfold properly across the day instead of disappearing after an hour.

Unscented moisturizer before spraying holds fragrance longer on the skin.

Never rub perfume in after spraying. It breaks down the top notes early and throws off the whole scent journey the perfumer intended you to experience.

“The right technique makes an eau de parfum last twice as long, no reformulation needed.” — Barivon Perfumes
